The iONcharge 4.0 is an advanced electrostatic charging system designed for industrial applications. It integrates a high voltage power supply within the charging electrode profile, eliminating the need for high voltage cables and utilizing a simple 24 Volt DC supply.
System Description
The system is used to apply electrostatic charges to insulating substrate surfaces, creating an electrostatic gluing effect. It features a programming button for setting high voltage values and supports bidirectional communication via an integrated CAN bus.
Technology
The system requires an opposite field polarity for effective charging. If not available, an opposite polarity charging electrode must be installed. The emitter pins, made from Tungsten Steel, ensure long life and efficient ion emission.
Applications
Typical applications include chill-roll tacking, edge pinning, stack tacking, bonding, reel change, in-mould labeling, and laminating.

The iONcharge 4.0 charging system is designed to apply electrostatic charges to an insulating substrate surface. In order to charge the substrate a suitable opposite field polarity is essential. If this opposite polarity cannot be ensured via a machine metal/ground an opposite polarity charging electrode must be installed.
