Modipur® US 569 B Isocyanate US 13 Core Foam System Product Data Description Modipur US 569 B / US 13 is a CFC-free foam system used for making low density ski/snowboard cores. It has excellent flowing properties under suitable processing conditions. It can also be used as a core in sandwich constructions or as block foam. parts by weight parts by weight component 1 (polyol) component 2 (isocyanate) Processing data The two components can be processed on conventional high and low pressure foaming machines. To improve the flowing properties of the reacting foam-mixture and to achieve an even cellular structure of the foam, sufficient air nucleation in the raw materials, preferably by using a suitable air nucleation device, has to be ensured prior to processing. Component 1 (polyol) has to be homogenized prior to use (approx. 10 min, 1000 2000 rev./min). In the machine tank component 1 has to be homogenized continually (approx. 60 rev./min).
