With the use of Adaptive Optimization, the HP StoreVirtual 4335 identifies pages that contain the most frequently accessed or “hot” data on the system. Adaptive Optimization automatically moves these pages onto higher-performing, Tier-0 storage comprised of SSD capacity. The system maintains a data “heat map” to continually track data access frequency and accelerate “hot” pages dynamically for the most efficient use of SSD capacity.
