It includes safety instructions, installation procedures, initial operation guidelines, cleaning instructions, assembly details, and a spare part order form.
Safety Instructions:
  • Only qualified personnel should perform installation and servicing.
  • Use full face protection and heat-resistant gloves as the nozzle can become extremely hot.
  • Avoid dropping the nozzle or exposing it to unnecessary forces.
  • Do not heat steel parts above 500°C.
  • Maximum injection rate/temperature is 2000 bar at 350°C.
  • Be aware of potential explosion risks from gases produced by some plastics.
Installation Instructions:
  • The nozzle is pre-assembled without the optional heater band and temperature sensor.
  • Tools required include a hexagonal wrench, Allen key, and ring spanner.
  • Ensure surfaces are checked and threads are greased with high-temperature paste before installation.
Initial Operation:
  • Bring the nozzle to operating temperature and retighten screws and heater band with maximum torque.
  • Ensure the material is completely melted before extrusion or injection.
  • Reduce nozzle temperature during machine downtimes to prevent leakage.
Cleaning Instructions:
  • Clean the nozzle while installed and heated, then disassemble for thorough cleaning.
  • Use tools like sand fluidized bed, glass bead blasting, or a cleaning oven.
  • Do not heat steel parts above 500°C and avoid kinking heater band and sensor cables.
Assembly:
  • Follow specific torque settings for different parts as outlined in the document.
