Modbus master-slave driver
The Modbus Master/Slave Driver is designed for use with the SAS 341-1 module, compatible with both RS232 and RS485 interfaces. The RS232 interface supports point-to-point communication, while the RS485 interface allows communication with up to 32 devices using a 2-wire half-duplex method.
The driver supports Modbus RTU function codes: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 11, 12, 15, and 16. Data exchange with the S7-CPU is managed in blocks through supplied function blocks.

The driver is used for the SAS 341-1 with RS232 interface (700-341-1AH02) or for the SAS 341-1 with RS485 interface (700-341-1CH02). With the RS232 interface, a point-to-point operation is possible, and with the RS485 interface, up to 32 participants can be addressed using the 2-wire half-duplex method. In the communication with other systems, the Modbus RTU function codes 01,02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 11, 12, 15, and 16 are supported.
