130 Easy clean MegaBox f a n s : Easy clean MegaBox fans The MegaBox range has been specifically designed for applications where the fan needs to be maintained in a clean condition. The motor is located out of the air stream. Both the motor and impeller swing out to allow the fan scroll and impeller to be cleaned. Designed with circular inlet and outlet spigots the MegaBox is easily fitted into standard spiral ducting. The fan spigots include rubber seals to ensure a good seal with the ducting. The MegaBox will suit the most demanding applications especially when extreme operating conditions prevail. Typical applications are transporting dirty, greasy, hot (up to 100 °C) and humid air, against high resistances in commercial and industrial applications. For commercial kitchen applications DW 171 requires that centrifugal fans have backward curved impellers. Therefore the Megabox sizes 315 to 400 mm meet this requirement. The ability of the fan to open for cleaning is particularly useful in kitchen applications.
