Shock test stand

Product catalog summary
Device Overview: The document describes a device designed for conducting shock tests on solar modules in compliance with the EN 61730-2 standard. The modules are mounted vertically on a transport trolley, which is then fixed to the testing device's frame.
Components:
  • Frame: The frame is anchored to the ground and wall, using shear connectors for stability. It includes quick releases for securing the trolley, ensuring the impact point is centrally located.
  • Carrier System: This system facilitates the lateral movement of the impact object, allowing easy positioning of the trolley. It includes two horizontal carriers at a height of 4.1 meters, equipped with cable winches for adjusting the impact object's position and amplitude.
  • Impact Object: The impact object is designed according to the standard's specifications, with a marked center of gravity for visual control. It features a release mechanism operated by a Bowden cable, and displays for setting up deflection accurately.
Installation Requirements:
  • A minimum ceiling height of 4.5 meters is necessary.
  • Anchoring holes in the floor and wall are required, but their placement costs are not covered by the manufacturer.
  • Electro hoists are used for cable winches, with controls centrally located on the wall.
Operational Notes:
  • The setup has been modified for safety, replacing the lifting of the impact object with lateral displacement.
  • Impact energy at stage three of testing is influenced by the wire length, affecting the drop height.

Shock test stand-2

This machine allows shock tests for solar modules according to the standard EN 61730-2. The modules have to be fixed vertically on a transport trolley, which has been equipped with an appropriate support for fixation on the frame of the testing device. The test bench consists of the following components: 1.) Frame (standing firm on the ground and fixation of the upper bearers) Main measurements are according to the standard EN 61730-2. The vertical supports (to which the modular tool holder is attached) are anchored in the floor. The upper supports which hold the carrier system (see 2.) are anchored...
