APPLICATIONS EXAMPLE: The properties of COD 11® bushings allow significant improvements, especially in comparison to bronze or copper alloy bushings in the following applications: Improved abrasion resistance: Offshore / maritime (Offshore lifting platforms - Power cylinder articulation bushings - Locks) ... CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SLIDING SURFACE: The surface topography of the COD 11® bushings is adaptable to offer large grease reserves (BH hole) or an optimized diffusion of the grease (cross hatching) while maintaining an optimal load rate. The surface treatments offer a high surface hardness and an excellent resistance to seizure, abrasive and adhesive wear.
