Technical datasheet / PRODUCT Edition October 2020 / Non contractual document Special purpose bushings COD 11® BUSHINGS HIGH RESISTANCE TO OXIDATION, SEIZURE AND WEAR UNDER DIFFICULT OPERATING CONDITIONS AND LOW MAINTENANCE The COD 11® bushings is made from treated copper aluminum alloys and offer excellent resistance to oxidation, galling, abrasion and wear. APPLICATIONS EXAMPLE: The properties of COD 11® bushings allow significant improvements, especially in comparison to bronze or copper alloy bushings in the following applications: Improved abrasion resistance: Offshore / maritime (Offshore lifting platforms - Power cylinder articulation bushings - Locks) ... CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SLIDING SURFACE: The surface topography of the COD 11® bushings is adaptable to offer large grease reserves (BH hole) or an optimized diffusion of the grease (cross hatching) while maintaining an optimal load rate. The surface treatments offer a high surface hardness and an excellent resistance to seizure, abrasive and adhesive wear.
