Product catalog summary
Overview: The Prago filter offers a fully automatic solution for filtering sand-laden well-water. It is designed to be installed directly on the piping system and comes fully equipped for immediate use.
Filtration Process: The filtration is conducted through a cylindrical filter screen. When the filter becomes clogged, a pressure difference switch detects the clogging and initiates a backwash cleaning system. This process involves reversing the water flow for a few seconds to remove and drain out the solids.
Key Components:
  • Motor: An electric motor operates the opening systems for the filter backwash.
  • Pressure Difference Switch: This switch measures the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet. When the difference reaches 0.5 Bar, it triggers the backwash.
  • Mural Fixing: A stainless steel shelf is provided for wall mounting the filter.
  • Discharge: The backwash water is drained and should be connected to a sewer.
  • Filter Screen: Made of stainless steel and PET, with a filtration degree of 100 microns.
Technical Specifications:
  • Maximum Working Pressure: 6 Bar
  • Minimum Pressure Downstream: 0 Bar
  • Maximum Water Temperature: 70°C
  • Electrical Supply: 230 V / 50 Hz
  • Power: 50 W
  • Weight (Empty): 6 Kg
  • Volume of Water Rejected per Cleaning Cycle: 3 L
  • Filter Maximal Pressure Loss: 0.5 Bar
  • Materials: Body made of stainless steel and PE; Filter screen made of stainless steel and PET; Shelf made of stainless steel.
Model Specifications:
  • Max Flow Rate: 10 m3/h
  • Filtration Degree: 100 µm
