PRAGO 2 AUTOMATIC FILTER FOR BOREHOLE WATER AUTOMATIC FROM The Prago 2 filter provides a fully automatic solution for the filtration of well or borehole water loaded with sand. Delivered fully equipped, this filter is installed directly in line on the piping. A motor operates the system of mechanical valves to wash the filter. Wall mounting attachments on each side, so that the filter can be installed in either direction. Membrane-type differential pressure switch to trigger the washing cycles. OPERATION During filtration During washing Filtration is carried out using a cylindrical sieve, from the inside towards the outside. The filter washing cycle starts when the pressure switch detects clogging. Several mechanical valves open or close (red lines). The water flow reverses and washes the sieve by back-flow. The solids are evacuated with a few litres of water.
