The Dolphin m-swipe filters are designed for filtration of liquids with suspended solids. They feature a manual brush cleaning system and are constructed from stainless steel with nylon brushes, ensuring minimal maintenance. The filters are available in Y and L configurations, suitable for various installations, and can handle a maximum flow rate of 550 m³/h, with a nominal pressure range of PN 10 - PN 16 and a maximum temperature of 90°C. They are compliant with the PED 2014/68/EU design standard.
Procedures
Cleaning is required when the pressure differential reaches 0.8-1 bar. The process involves opening the drain valve, rotating the handle 5-6 times, and closing the valve. For thorough cleaning, partially closing the outlet valve is recommended.
Technical Data
The housing is made from AISI 304 or AISI 316, with EPDM gaskets and nickel-plated brass or AISI 316 vent/drain valves. The surface is finished with micro shot peening and passivation.
Models and Flow Rates
Various models are available with different sizes and flow rates, ranging from 30 m³/h to 550 m³/h, depending on the construction shape and size.
Cleaning Cycle
The cleaning cycle requires a minimum flow rate of 10-20 m³/h and a pressure of 1.5 bar, consuming 55-110 liters of water per cycle, lasting 20-25 seconds.
Filtering Elements
Three types of filter kits are available: PES, 2LE, and 1LE, offering filtration degrees from 25 microns to 3000 microns. The PES kit uses a polyester filter fabric, while the 2LE and 1LE kits are made entirely of AISI 316 stainless steel.
Accessories and Spare Parts
Accessories include a differential pressure kit and valves to enhance cleaning efficacy. Spare parts such as gaskets, pressure gauges, and brush kits are available for maintenance.
