The Dolphin Aquarens filters are designed for treating liquids with high concentrations of suspended solids. They feature a maximum flow rate of 260 m³/h, nominal pressure ranging from PN 10 to PN16, and can operate at temperatures up to 80°C. The filters are constructed in L or O shapes and are compliant with the PED 2014/68/EU design standard. They are made from AISI 304 and AISI 316 stainless steel, with EPDM gaskets and nickel-plated brass or AISI 316 drain valves.
Liquid enters through the inlet, and suspended solids are retained inside the cartridge. The filtered liquid exits through the outlet. The cleaning process is automatic, triggered by a preset pressure differential or time intervals. During cleaning, the inlet valve closes, the drain valve opens, and pressurized water jets clean the filter element.
The cleaning cycle varies by size, with a minimum flow rate during cleaning ranging from 3 to 8.5 m³/h and a water consumption of 30 to 94 liters per cycle. Each cycle lasts 60 seconds.
Various models are available, with sizes ranging from DN50 to DN150 and maximum flow rates from 30 to 260 m³/h. The filtering surface area varies from 1,500 to 5,400 cm².
Two types of filter kits are available: PES and 2LE. The PES kit includes a stainless steel mesh with a polyester filter fabric, offering filtration degrees from 25 to 700 microns. The 2LE kit is entirely stainless steel, suitable for harsh conditions, with filtration degrees from 40 to 400 microns.
The automation system includes an electronic controller, pneumatic drain valve, pressure transmitters, and a Namur solenoid valve. Spare parts include gaskets and pressure gauges compatible with all models.
