Product catalog summary
Overview: The Hardy HI 2204LT Loop Powered Level Weight Transmitter is designed for level-by-weight and force measurement applications. It is a cost-effective solution that interfaces with strain gages, load cells, and load points, suitable for non-hazardous environments.
Specifications: The transmitter provides a 5 VDC excitation voltage and can generate a full 4-20 mA signal with only 33% of the total load cell capacity. It supports up to four 3 mV/V, 350 ohm load cells/points. The device features a two-wire transmitter system, adjustable span and zero, and is available in NEMA 4X stainless steel or NEMA 4 steel enclosures.
Features: The HI 2204LT includes coarse and fine zero adjustments, a span adjustment for liveload, and powers load cells at a rate of 90 times per second. It is equipped with a two-year warranty and is CE approved.
Performance: The transmitter has a linearity of 0.08% of full scale, a response time of 250 milliseconds, and a temperature range of 0 to 60°C. It offers a power supply rejection of 0.1% from 15 to 50 volts and 0.015% from 20 to 30 volts.
Applications: Ideal for process weighing, the HI 2204LT is used in level-by-weight and force measurement applications. It is compatible with Hardy's range of scales and load points, and can be integrated with Allen-Bradley systems.
Accessories: Available accessories include NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X junction or summing boxes, snap track, and adapter.

Loop Power Level Weight Transmitters Applications PROCESS WEIGHING • Level-by-Weight • Force Measurement Wire Transmitter Year Warranty HI 2204LT LOOP POWERED LEVEL WEIGHT TRANSMITTER The Hardy HI 2204LT Loop Power Level Weight Transmitter is a stateof-the-art bridge to strain gages, load cells and load points. The lowcost HI 2204LT Loop Power Level Weight Transmitters are used for level-by-weight and force measurement applications. The HI 2204LT comes sealed and potted to withstand typical industrial environments. They have a coarse zero offset adjustment to remove deadload, a fine zero adjustment to compensate for small differences between load cells/points, and a span adjustment to set the operating range for the "liveload". The HI 2204LT powers the load cells/points momentarily at the rate of about 90 times per second and converts the signal read into a 4-20 mA output. The HI 2204LT is designed for use in nonhazardous environments. It produces a 5 VDC excitation voltage. The HI 2204LT is capable of developing its full 4-20 mA signal while requiring "liveload" of only 33% of total load cell capacity. This is true even when four 3 mV/V, 350 ohm load cells/ points are used.
