Hanwei Group VOCScan800 Fixed VOC DetectorApplication VOCScan800 is used to detect a wide range of potentially hazardous volatile organic gases, including toxic and explosive gases. In addition to other basic features common to PID detectors, the product features dual air inlets, on-site auto-cleaning and auto-zeroing to keep the device in top working condition. The detector captures the positive and negative charges of the ionized gas and converts it into a current signal to measure the gas concentration. When the gas to be tested absorbs high-energy ultraviolet light, the gas molecules are excited by the ultraviolet light to temporarily lose electrons and become positively charged ions. After the gas ions are detected on the electrodes of the detector, they soon combine with electrons to reconstitute the original gas and vapor molecules.
