Overview
Hammond DusKolectors® are standalone dust collectors designed for machines that cannot connect to a central dust collection system. They operate by drawing in dirty air, depositing heavier particles in a dirt container, and filtering finer particles before returning clean air to the room. Models include cabinet, cyclone, and CycloPlus, each suited for different applications and capacities.

Cabinet Model
The FDK cabinet model is compact, rated at 700 CFM, and suitable for light or intermittent dust collection. It is ideal for pedestal grinders or small abrasive belt grinders but not for stringy or bulky materials.

Cyclone Model
DK models range from 500 to 800 CFM, using centrifugal precipitation to separate particles. Heavier particles are collected in a dirt container, while finer particles are captured in bags. The blower wheel is located on the clean air side to reduce wear.

CycloPlus Model
CDK models range from 5500 to 5900 CFM, offering efficient filtration and extended cartridge life. They use cyclonic action for primary filtration and a pleated cartridge filter for final filtration, achieving up to 99% efficiency.

Applications
Selection of the appropriate DusKolector® depends on the CFM required for each machine, the volume, weight, and nature of the material collected. Proper ductwork and placement are crucial for efficiency.

Operation Safety
