OPTO OPTICAL BLOCKS MECHANICS Optical Components for Optical Measurement OVERVIEW Optical blocks are freely combinable modular units designed to facilitate optical connections that are usually difficult for low-light-level measurements. Hamamatsu provides various types of optical blocks that allow installation of optical components such as filters, mirrors, and lenses. Each optical block can be placed precisely and is easy to attach/detach yet excellent in light shielding. When used in combination with a Hamamatsu photomultiplier tube module, optical blocks allow low-light-level measurements even in an ordinary room environment.
