FLASH LIGHT SOURCES L11729/L11730 SERIES-1

FLASH LIGHT SOURCES LF S NEW flash light source with HIGH stability & HIGH output in a small package The new LF2 flash light source eliminates the CPU and keeps just the essential functions! This makes it even more light and compact than the older LF1 while still giving the same performance. The LF2 basically operates by external control and is available with a 15 W or 40 W lamp that can be selected to meet your application. The LF2 light source is so versatile that it can output differ- ent types of light by selecting optical components such as light guides to match the type of light you need. The LF2 emits high intensity light over a brief period in microsec- onds and so is ideal as a strobe light source. Left: Rear panel light guide type L11729 series Right: Front panel light guide type L11730 series (Light guide is sold separately) iLight source for industry and lab use (factory automation, semiconductor inspection, image processing, fluorescence microscope, etc.) •Lightweight in a compact package TOur previous •Instantaneous high output Main discharge capacitor: 4 u.F Body size •Easy to replace cassette type lamp •Two types of lamp available: 15 W and 40 W •Can be synchronized to CCD camera by exter- ►Long service life (1 x 108 flashes)

NOTE: ©Recommended light guide (prefer to the last page) NOTE: ©Input energy E=CV2-1/2 E: energy (J), C: main discharge capacitor (F), V: lamp supply voltage (V dc) ©Set the emission frequency so that the lamp input power does not exceed 40 W. Lamp input power = input energy x emission frequency ©Measured with lamp supply voltage of 800 V, main discharge capacitor of 4 \iF, and emission frequency of 30 Hz (at 40 W input).
