Furthermore, non-destructive readout improves signal to noise ratio, and provides very high sensitivity for low-light imaging. The unique hermetic vacuum-sealed head ensures great cooling performance over many years with no need for periodic ■What is the non-destructive readout feature? In a usual CCD sensor the charge generated on the sensor is reset after each readout. However, in the C10633-34 it is possible to read the amount of generated charge without resetting the charge generated on the sensor. By this function it is possible to read and monitor the amount of charge during the exposure while exposing the sensor for a long time.
