• E-ELF-19-15A: 15A fitting size, 318g, 17.5mm (A), 60mm (C), 30mm (L), 27.5mm hex

Installation Procedures and Precautions

1. Use only with specified HAKKO hoses to avoid leaks, detachment, or bursting.
2. Wash fittings thoroughly before first use; fittings are not sterilized at shipment.
3. Clean fittings after use to prevent bacterial growth and corrosion.
4. Do not soak fittings and hoses in fluids during food transfer to avoid bacterial growth and corrosion.
5. Cut hose cross-section perpendicularly for proper fitting.
6. Install fittings at room temperature (20°C ±10°C); avoid heating hoses with fire.
7. When reusing fittings, do not use knives to remove hoses; use pliers and inspect for damage. Do not reuse damaged fittings.
8. Ensure correct insertion points and orientation of ring and sleeve during assembly.
9. Avoid bending, twisting, or pulling near fittings to prevent hose damage or detachment.
10. Allow adequate space for hose contraction and extension due to pressure.
11. Note that working pressure and temperature ranges differ for KY SUNFOODS HOSE with EIGHTLOCK fittings compared to without.
12. Always replace the sleeve when reusing fittings; sleeves are not reusable.
13. Regularly inspect hoses and fittings for abnormalities such as tears, cracks, swelling, deformation, color changes, or leaks; replace immediately if detected.

Installation Steps

1. Pass the nut, ring, and sleeve through the hose.
2. Insert the hose fully onto the nipple, ensuring it reaches the root.
3. Securely fasten the nut, ensuring no gaps between body and nut.

Mark the hose before insertion to ensure correct positioning. The insertion depth varies by model (e.g., 11mm for E-ELF-19-15A).
