Bicycle Brake and Road Condition Life Tester
The bicycle crank test involves using a motor to drive the front sprocket, which in turn drives the rear sprocket via a chain, causing the rear wheel to rotate. The rotation of the rear wheel then drives a roller beneath it due to friction.
During commissioning, it was observed that when the servo motor drives the front sprocket to achieve a rear wheel speed greater than 5km/h, the chain breaks. Analysis revealed that the motor's acceleration and deceleration time was too short, particularly the 10-second acceleration period. This short duration, combined with the heavy mass of the roller and high running speeds, resulted in excessive force on the chain, exceeding its maximum bearing capacity and causing it to break.
A solution was implemented to allow the acceleration time to be set freely via a touch screen interface within the program. This adjustment enables setting appropriate acceleration times based on vehicle speed, with higher speeds requiring longer acceleration times. This approach effectively resolved the chain breakage issue, confirming that speeds ranging from 7-27km/h are achievable as per order requirements.

Crank Test and Debugging of Bicycle Brake and Road Condition Life Tester Test action: The bicycle crank test is to drive the front sprocket to rotate through the motor, and the front sprocket drives the rear sprocket through the chain, thus driving the rear wheel of the bicycle to rotate.
