Product Overview

The BZH-K series web tension sensors are designed with a compact pillow block structure, suitable for diverse applications. They are installed between the pillow block bearing and the machine frame to measure horizontal web tension forces. The sensors require a suitable amplifier from the HAEHNE product line for voltage supply and signal processing, providing output signals proportional to the horizontal force.

Scope of Supply: Includes a web tension sensor with a 5 m cable (PUR) and connection variant T (straight cable gland).

Variants: N2 variant includes a straight M12 plug connection.

Additional Options: U option includes a metal protection hose; F option is for explosive areas and includes a J-Box.

The sensor is mounted in between the pillow block bearing and the machine frame. All BZH - devices capture the horizontal forces of web tension. The voltage supply to the full bridge and the processing of the measuring signals is effected by way of a suitable amplifier of the standard HAEHNE product program. The signals at the output terminals of the amplifier are proportional to the acting horizontal force. They can be digitally displayed or used as instantaneous values in a closed control loop.
