Consisting of two Busboxes-PS2 with wiring to the terminal block in high-quality stainless steel enclosures suitable for aggressiv suroundings, e. g. in rolling mills. Each web tension sensor on each roll end is assigned to its individual amplier, which is connected to the Probus with its own individual address for transmitting the measured force value. Protection class IP67 The Busbox is used whenever full brigde strain gauge sensors are to be connected to the Probus DP. The primary eld of application is web tension measurement. Here each sensor is either assigned to a Probus Busbox and the individual measurements are transmitted to the Busbox, or two force sensors are connected to one Busbox. In the rst alternative is possible, e.g. to determine the difference in the tension forces of the two sensors; in the other alternative the average force values can be transmitted in addition to the individual measurements. The Probus amplier consists of an analog and a digital module. It can power one or two sensors and process the measuring signals. The measurement values are converted into digital signals, averaged and transmitted to the interfaces module every 3 ms. The interface module converts the signal to the appropriate data format for transmission to the bus.
