Welded cleats Cleats (TPU profiles) can be welded onto the convey side of the timing belt in any number, shape, or placement using high-frequency welding (HF), friction welding, or infrared welding. Cleats are particularly important for applications in the packaging and food processing industries. In addition to the standard TPU materials; different durometer, TPU with food approval, and special properties are also available.
