Cost reductions result from controlling the speed of basket entry and withdrawal from the vapour zone, by reducing solvent 'drag-out' (the loss of cleaning solution when components are transferred through the cleaning process) and losses to atmosphere caused by disturbance of the vapour blanket. Autotrans SA is a cost-effective work carrier providing vertical movement of loads up to 10 kg. Dwell positions are pre-set but the dwell time of the basket in each stage can be modified during operation using the E200 control. Autotrans SA provides high positional accuracy and a maximum speed of 3 metres per minute. Movement sensors ensure personnel safety and prevent damage to the system in the event of an obstruction.
