Guyson Airwash Leaflet

Product catalog summary
Introduction
Guyson International Ltd. offers a solution for the safe and controlled manual blow-off of dust, dirt, powder, carbon deposits, and particle debris using their Airwash cabinets. These cabinets address the hazards associated with traditional blow-off methods, such as eye injuries, skin injuries, dust explosions, toxic material dispersal, and noise pollution.

Specifications and Features
The Airwash cabinets are based on the high-quality Guyson Euroblast® and Formula blast cabinets. They feature solid metal construction with folded and welded joints and tight-fitting doors to prevent leakage of dust, dirt, debris, and noise. A powerful dust collector is included to maintain high visibility during operation.

Optional Features
Depending on the level of component contamination, additional options include explosion relief panels, electrostatic discharge (ESD) facilities, door interlocks, ionic airwash guns, precision nozzles, HEPA filters, and stainless steel cabinets.

Large Scale Solutions
Guyson also offers large airwash systems, such as a 2.5-meter square cabinet capable of handling two-ton loads. This allows for cleaning large items without contaminating the workspace or requiring workers to wear restrictive protective gear.

Continuous Development
Guyson is committed to continuous development, and modifications to their machines are introduced regularly. Therefore, all designs and specifications are subject to change.

Application Areas
The Airwash cabinets are suitable for various industries, including aerospace, computer/printer/IT service departments, electronics manufacturers, nuclear, and transport.

Guyson Airwash Leaflet-1

AIRWASH Safe and controlled manual blow off of dust, dirt, powder, carbon deposits and particle debris in a contained environment. Application areas • Aerospace • Computer/Printer/IT Service Departments The usage of a blow off gun or airline has been common place to remove swarf, dust, dirt, powder, light oils etc from components but there are a number of potential hazards with this practice, such as: eye injuries - air line pressures can causes swarf or other particles to fly off at high speed into the eyes operators or bystanders and injuries caused by discharging airlines with the nozzle held close to the skin i.e. when clothing is dusted down or from fooling around. Other problems can include dust explosions from dispersing flammable dust or the dispersal of toxic material into the air and also high noise pollution from air lines. All of the above can be addressed by adopting ‘best practice procedure’ with the introduction of a Guyson Airwash cabinet. • Electronics Manufacturers • Nuclear • Transport Guyson’s Airwash cabinets are generally based around the high quality Guyson Euroblast® and Formula blast cabinets and utilise all the benefits of the high quality solid metal construction with folded and welded metal joints and tight fitting doors to maintain the integrity of the blow off chamber and thus not leak dust, dirt, debris and noise into the work environment. They are also coupled with a powerful dust collector, to maintain high operational visibility, provided as standard with all Guyson cabinets. Other options offered with Guyson Airwash cabinets, dependent on component contamination include: explosion relief panels, electrostatic discharge (ESD) facilities, door interlocks, ionic airwash guns, precision nozzles, HEPA filters and stainless steel cabinets. And Airwash doesn’t need to equate to small cabinets. We build them large as well (right). Guyson have built an airwash system that is 2.5 metre square and can take two ton loads on the easy-to-wind side loading platform. This new large airwash cabinet enables even the largest items to have the dust and dirt cleaned off them inside a cabinet, without contaminating the workspace or workers having to get suited up, wear protective (but hot and restrictive) full face helmets and work in the noisy and dusty environment inside a blast room. Call Guyson to find out more. Modifications and improvements to Guyson machines are introduced from time to time as a direct result of our policy of continuous development. Consequently all designs and specifications quoted must be regarded as subject to change. Please refer to quotation.
