Product catalog summary
Introduction
EH 275 / EP 114 is an epoxy prepreg material designed for high-performance composite structures, particularly in aerospace applications. It offers a service temperature of 180ºC (356ºF) and is known for its excellent adhesion to honeycomb cores, making it suitable for aircraft secondary structures.

Product Information
The epoxy prepreg is available in various formats, with properties such as controlled resin flow and self-adhesive formulation. It is manufactured at two sites, Gurit Kassel and Gurit Zullwil, under different naming conventions.

Prepreg Properties
Key properties include a resin content of 53-58%, medium to high tackiness, and a service temperature range from -55ºC to +135ºC. The material should be stored in a freezer to maximize its usable life.

Qualifications and Fire Performance
The product meets several certifications, including LN 29549 and FAR 25.853 Flame Test, indicating its self-extinguishing properties.

Curing Conditions
Curing can be performed using press, vacuum, or autoclave methods with a pressure range of 0.7 to 4 bar. The recommended dwell temperature is between 160ºC and 180ºC.

Laminate Properties
Mechanical properties at room temperature include a flexural strength of 400 MPa and a tensile strength of 300 MPa for EHG275-68-50. At 80ºC, the flexural strength is 180 MPa.
