Product Overview
The CRP 42 filing cabinets are designed to protect important paper documents from fire. Available in two, three, or four-drawer configurations, these cabinets ensure stability even when fully loaded. Each drawer operates independently, preventing exposure of other drawers to fire when one is open.
Fire Protection
The CRP 42 meets the EN 1047-1 standard, certified by ECB•S in fire resistance classes S 60 P and S 120 P, offering one and two hours of document fire protection, respectively. This certification ensures the highest level of document protection.
Locks
The standard configuration includes a central key lock on the upper drawer, with options for additional locks on each drawer, including combination locks.
Fire Testing Procedure
The CRP 42 undergoes rigorous testing, including fire endurance, thermal shock, and impact tests. It withstands temperatures over 1000 °C, protecting documents that combust at 170 °C. The fire endurance test involves heating the cabinet for one or two hours, followed by a cooling period. The thermal shock and impact test includes exposure to 1090 °C, a drop test, and further heat exposure at 840 °C.
Technical Specifications
The CRP 42 has external dimensions of 1504 mm height, 551 mm width, and 82 mm depth, with a weight of 385 kg. Each drawer has an internal capacity of 63 litres, contributing to a total interior capacity of 252 litres.
