Functions Photometric measuring principle When adding specific reagents to a water sample, the sample takes on a degree of coloration proportional to the substance being analysed. A LED emits a light beam with the wavelength (colour) needed for analysing the substance. The sample absorbs a part of this light beam, in proportion to the concentration of the substance being analysed. The photosensor measures the remaining light quantity.
