Open channel flow monitors retired after 16 years of continuous service. Long Sault WWTP Influent Flow Monitors After 16 years of service, the Long Sault WWTP replaced two older Greyline Open Channel Flow Monitors with new data logging OCF 5.0 models. This SBR treatment plant’s influent is measured with flow through two 0.15 m (6 in) Parshall Flumes. Greyline Open Channel Flow Monitors were installed at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Long Sault, Ontario when the SBR plant was originally commissioned in 1995. Plant operators Caneau Water and Sewage Inc. decided to replace the instruments and new Greyline OCF 5.0 Open Channel Flow Monitors were installed in 2011. Contractor Bob Crawford of Marleau Mechnical installs OCF 5.0 Open Channel Flow Monitors.
