Bypass Air Plenum Design Features Vektor-MD Air Plenum Design Features All Vektor-MD bypass air plenums are manufactured of laser cut and structurally formed heavy gauge steel. Plenum assembly is continuously welded. The welded plenum assembly is then corrosion-resistant coated inside and out using an electrostatically applied polyester resin finish, and baked at 400º F. In addition to superior corrosion resistance to acid, alkali, and solvent vapors, the polyester finish is resistant to the UV component of sunlight. The standard coating color is light gray.
