Air-Lube Spra-Control Valve

Air-Lube Spra-Control Valve

Product catalog summary
Description: The Graco Trabon Spra-Control Valve is designed to automatically manage the flow of pressurized air into an air-lube mixing nozzle when lubricant is supplied under pressure. It also stops the air supply when lubricant pressure ceases. This valve can handle lubricant, oil, or grease directly from a pump or through injectors or divider valves. It supports systems where multipurpose lubricants are used, serving both bearing taps and gear sprays. The air-lube nozzles are non-clogging and provide normal and wide cone spray patterns. The required air pressure ranges from 20 psi to 150 psi.
Features:
  • Conserves air by requiring it only during the spray interval.
  • Features a positive air shut-off with self-sealing action.
  • Versatile usage with centralized lube systems or mechanical oilers, handling both grease and oil.
  • External mix nozzle prevents clogging by purging itself.
  • Saves lubricant by spraying smaller amounts at frequent intervals, ensuring better film and no waste.
Typical Fluids Handled:
  • Oil with a minimum of 100 SUS at 100º F.
  • Grease: NLGI #1 at any temperature, NLGI #2 at 32º F or above.
Dimensions: The document provides specific measurements in inches and millimeters for installation and component sizing.
Ordering Information: The document lists part numbers for various components of the valve assembly, including the complete valve and nozzle assembly, valve body, retaining ring, gasket, air nozzle, and lube nozzle. It also mentions a check valve supplied in the lube inlet.

Air-Lube Spra-Control Valve-1

Air-Lube Spra-Control Valve DIMENSIONS Inches (mm) 1/4 NPTF DESCRIPTION The Graco Trabon Spra-Control Valve automatically allows pressurized air to enter the air-lube mixing nozzle when supplied with lubricant under pressure. The Spra-Control Valve also shuts off the pressurized-air supply to the nozzle when the lubricant pressure ceases. Lubricant, oil, or grease can be supplied directly from the pump, as in the case of a single isolated spray; it can also be supplied from injectors or divider valves which feed several Spra-Control Valves. In some cases where multipurpose lubricant is used, bearing taps and gear sprays may be served by the same pump and manifold system. Air-lube nozzles providing normal and wide cone spray patterns are of the non-clogging external mix type. Minimum air pressure required is 20 psi, maximum is 150 psi. FEATURES • Conserves air - air required only during spray interval. • Positive air shut-off - self-sealing air valve action. • Versatile - can be used with most centralized lube systems or mechanical oilers - will handle grease or oil. • External mix nozzle purges itself and prevents clogging. • Saves Lubricant - by spraying smaller amounts at frequent intervals provides better film, no waste. TYPICAL FLUIDS HANDLED • Oil - minimum of 100 SUS at 100° F • Grease - NLGI #1 at any temperature, NLGI #2 at 32° F or above Check valve 563211 (509-365-030) supplied in lube inlet. Contact us today!
