Polyshield ® Baseplate/Foundation System • 316SS Fastener and Inserts are standard. • One-piece removable Polymer Motor Block. Provides full motor foot support to minimize soft foot conditions. Each block accommodates two NEMA motor sizes. • Self-venting design with Grout Hole and plug. • Integral Drip Basin. • Standard 316SS Inserts provide flatness of 0.005"/ft. (Optional A-20 and Hastelloy C available.) Installation Steps for Polyshield ® Installation & Maintenance Savings • Baseplate & Foundation Polyshield® Baseplates are less expensive than most metal bases and epoxy grout foundations. • Grout Polyshield® Baseplates are filled with regular 3000psi concrete fill which is less expensive than epoxy grouts. Install Polyshield ® Foundation complete with pump and motor over rebar. • Preparation Metal baseplates must be sandblasted for grout adhesion. Polyshield does not.
