A CV 3196 retrofit kit (casing and impeller) easily converts an existing 3196. Reduced Radial Loads Trouble-Free Operation At Low Flows Many users throttle pumps to attain desired low flow performance. Because most pumps are not designed to operate continuously in this range, the resultant higher radial loads and increased shaft deflection lead to premature bearing and mechanical seal failure.
