For some other kinds of steel reinforced polyethylene pipes, the most serious problem is that there is none bonding interface between steel and plastic, so the two different materials are not combined into an integration. The crack will happen at the boundary of the two different materials under the circumstance temperature stress and inner pressure stress. And if the cutting section of pipe is not sealed well, the water can enter inside the composite layers then break the pipe from inner layer under the low pressure.
