Overview
This document describes the FILTRELEC FBOX®, a connected rainwater treatment device designed for HVA/HVB transformers. It is a compact and lightweight system developed in collaboration with ENEDIS to minimize site work duration and optimize maintenance operations.

Innovative Design
The system continuously evacuates rainwater from retention areas, captures hydrocarbon traces, and blocks fluid outflow during sudden hydrocarbon spills. It features a stainless steel filter box with a pre-filter, filters from the FILTRELEC F15® range, and a safety bypass.

Functionalities
The device is equipped with two floating sensors that connect to alarm and control systems. It can be installed inside or outside the transformer pit, minimizing installation and connection work.

Benefits
In normal operation, only the two filter cartridges in the lower stage are used. During exceptional rainfall, the second filtration stage is activated, and the first stage alarm is temporarily triggered. The system provides real-time maintenance information through its filtration stages and sensors.

Maintenance Operations
When the first stage cartridges are saturated, the level rises, directing polluted rainwater to the upper level and triggering a continuous alarm. If the second stage becomes saturated, the safety overflow activates, and the second sensor detects a high level, prompting urgent maintenance intervention.

Design recommendations and quality control are provided by experienced staff. On-site installation is available for complex applications.

Certifications and Patents
The FILTRELEC FBOX is certified by TÜV and SGS and is a patented solution (WO2019096650).
