Designed for use with our range of ceramic heating elements, the resistance heating systems can reach process temperatures of up to 1050° C* when using our standard Ni-Ch heating elements, and up to 1200° C* when used with special high temperature ceramic heating elements. The HTUs can be used alone for Preheat applications where no process recording is necessary, or be paired with a temperature recorder to record the process data. Designed to be compact and robust, the mobile HTUs are simple to use and provide excellent temperature control on thick and thin wall applications. Fitted with the Advantage 3 Temperature Programmers with linkable control the HTUs provide complete flexibility as each channel can be configured to follow its own Pre-Heat / Post-Weld Heat Treatment profile, or be grouped to the previous channel, maximising the available power and providing the flexibility you need to tackle any project. For large scale projects using multiple machines, the HTUs can be grouped using a coms cable to create a 12/18/24 etc. channel system. Machine groups can then follow a single profile providing the peace of mind for the operating technician that the heating process can be carried out with ease, precision and efficiency.
