General Features
The GVS 600 V optical scale is designed for CNC machines, featuring a glass measuring support with a grating pitch of 20 μm. It offers resolutions up to 0.01 μm and an accuracy grade up to ±1 µm. The scale includes an innovative device for liquid disposal, adjustable cable output, and a connector incorporated into the transducer. It is compact for installation in narrow spaces.

Mechanical and Electrical Characteristics
Mechanical: The scale is constructed with a rugged anodized aluminum profile (40x24 mm) and features an elastic coupling for misalignment compensation. It includes non-extendible sealing lips, a reader head with a protected electronic board area, and a die-cast tie rod with nickel treatment. The glass grating is housed within the scale, and elastomeric gaskets ensure full protection in mechanical joints.
Electrical: The reading device uses an infra-red light emitter and photodiodes, with A and B output signals having a 90° phase displacement. The cable is an 8-wire shielded type with a bending radius not lower than 80 mm, suitable for continuous movements.
