Lightweight Liquid Level Sensor 3. Configuration Lightweight Liquid Level Sensor The sensor can be configured using GSlevel software, available from www.gillsc.com/support. Select the product from the dropdown list. The sensor is configured for use with regular tank profiles, such as that shown below. The minimum operating system requirements are: 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor Windows® 7 or later 1 Gb RAM 500 Mb disk space One free USB port to connect a sensor A connector is required to configure the sensor with a computer. Lightweight Liquid Level Sensor Lightweight Liquid Level Sensor Before installation, ensure you have sufficient clearance above the tank in to order to mount the sensor. The sensor is rigid, therefore the clearance height must be, at a minimum, the designated length of the sensor plus 20mm for side exit cable sensors and plus 60mm for top exit cable sensors. Sideways clearance may also be required, and should be accounted for. 4. Installation Do not remove the packaging until you are ready to install the sensor. Lightweight Liquid Level Sensor Lightweight Liquid Level Sensor Prior to installation of the sensor in the tank a fluorosilicone O-ring seal and/or fluorosilicone panel gasket must be fitted to ensure the tank is sealed. All sensors must be fitted with the 19 x 1.5 mm fluorosilicone O-ring seal as shown in the diagram below. For top exit cable sensors any orientation may be used. For side exit cable sensors using the 5 hole adaptor, the orientation shown in the diagram below must be used.
