3-Axis CNC Flat Table Machine The CNC-RACK is a compact 3-D processing machine for prototyping, educational and laboratory applications. The purpose of developing this machine is to engrave front panels or name plates, to mill 2D contours of panel material, and to work at printed circuit boards (outline milling). CNC-RACK integrates the complete power electronics (3-axis stepper motor controller with highresolution micro-step operation), a emergency-stop device with the operating elemente in the front side, and some mounting area availiable for e.g. a HF-spindle converter. There is a parallel interface (clock/direction) to control the machine. As a option to choose a USB interface is also possible, which will be realized via a new developed parallel/USBconverter. The machine is equipped with a hood as standard. The acrylic glass plate makes observating of machine running with an unrestricted view. There is plenty of working space availiable in the front. Gie-Tec GmbH ? Schlierbach 18 An der For these applications the machine needs necessary stiffness and basic accuracy, which are assured by the construction of steel bath and the laser-cut end plate. The steel shafts guides with linear bearing and ball screw spindle drives in all drive axes garantee the precise motion sequence and high positioning precision. CNC-RACK has a new developed ball bushing guide in z-axis and a ball screw spindle with T-grooves profile, which makes mounting of processing machine very easily.
