Gate valve , with drain tap . R56 series
Gate valves can be installed both horizontally and vertically. The slow and proportional operation helps prevent water hammer. Care should be taken during installation, especially with smaller sizes, to avoid forcing the pipe screwing and deforming the sealing seats. Gate valves can also function in intermediate positions to regulate flow capacity in pipes.
The R56 series gate valve features female-female thread connections and is suitable for cold water, hot water, and low-pressure steam. The body is made of brass UNI EN 12165 - CW 617N, with parts in forged brass and machined from bar. It includes PTFE external sealing, an aluminum handwheel, and a zinc-plated steel nut for handwheel fixing. The drain tap has an M threaded hose connection of Ø 9 mm. The temperature range is 5 to 110 °C (41 to 230 °F), with a maximum working pressure of 16 bar at 23 °C (232 psi at 73 °F) and 10 bar at 95 °C (145 psi at 203 °F). It complies with the PED 97/23/CE Directive and is exempt from CE marking according to paragraph 3.3.
