GT 5068 is a composite material developed by combining conductive silicone filled with silver-plated aluminum (GT5000) and doped EPDM silicone with a hardness of 65 shore. This material is designed to function effectively in corrosive environments by separating the shielding and sealing functions for specific applications.
GT 5068 complies with REACH and RoHS standards. It offers good resistance to abrasion and hydraulic fluids such as phosphoric ester (Skydrol). Additionally, it has low permeability to water vapor and other gases.
The material is available in various formats including molded, cut, extruded, vulcanization-bonded, and sheet forms.
