Right up until the present day, such visions have repeatedly led to numerous trailblazing developments in valve technology and also, from the 1960s onwards, in industrial elec-tronics. These technical milestones have made GESTRA one of today’s technological leaders for steam and condensate systems. But what use are the best products if you do not have the capability of bringing them to market worldwide with a qualified and customer-oriented service network? This question was solved in the year 2002 through the acquisition of GESTRA by the Flowserve Corporation with headquarters in Texas (USA), one of the largest international groups in the sector of fluid control technology.
