GFB2 W3 GeoFilter GFB2 W3 is a complete and self-cleaning filter unit. It is testet at Institut für Arbeitsschutz der Deutschen Gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung (IFA) in Germany and approved according to DIN EN ISO 21904-1 and 21904-2 and it meets the requirements of welding fume separation class ”W3”. This filter unit has extra security measures built-in compared with our standard GFB2 filter units: • he filter unit has an extra alarm and a lamp built-in, T which is activated when the filter cartridges need to be changed. • hen the filter cartridges are changed, these are W loosened from the top - meaning from the clean side. This way, persons who change the filter avoid contact with the contaminated particles on the filter cartridges. When the filter cartridges are loosened, the doors can be opened and each cartridge can be covered with a plastic bag and removed and then the bag can be closed tight. • vacuum is established in the bucket in order to avoid, A that the bag and the contents of the bucket from being extracted up into the filter unit. Like the GeoFilter GFB2 this unit has an automatic, timer controlled cleaning function installed as standard. The controller is programmed from the factory, but the parameters can be adjusted, so that the filter unit is matching the exact need. It is possible to exchange the timer control unit to a differential pressure control unit, which activates the cleaning at a pre-defined pressure loss.
