GFO – XT filter for Oil mist Oil mist filtration as zone filter from large processing centers or central filter for several lathes / cutters, etc. • GFO XT – up to 99% filtration of oil mists. • Q recommended from 1.800 to 7.200 m³/h. • Q peak load: up till 9.600 m³/h. • From 14,7 to 58,8 m² polypropylene filter cartridge. • 0 liters reservoir with discharge tap and sight glass for 2 oil level control. • Comes in galvanized finish. • Pre-filtration can be installed. The filter media in polypropylene is a filter membrane that can handle mists and fumes from all types of cutting oil such as pure oil, semi-synthetic and synthetic oils and water-based solutions. Possibility of parallel switching. It is recommended that the load is kept at approx. 70% of max load. Filtration at minimum 99,9% according to BIA Outlet ø250 mm Polypropylene Filter cartridge 10 m² Reccomende Max air flow = 3500m³/h Deflector which leads the oil mist away from the filter cartridge to lower the air velocity. Inlet ø250mm The oil will slowly drip from the filter cartridge and into the container below. Geovent Oil mist filters GFO and GFO XT need regeneration time, so the oil can drain. For continuous operation it is recommended to have 2 oil mist filters that change every 3 hours, depending on the load. Placement outdoors is not recommended as the oil gets stiff in cold and therefore does not drip so easily from the filter. Especially cutting oil can freeze. Filter area Dimensions (HxBxD)
