Specifications
The pressure switch is designed for very low pressures and features a steel cover with a blue epoxy coating. It offers two housing options: standard IP20 and proof IP55, with the ATEX version automatically using the proof housing. The mechanism is made of zinc-plated steel, and the sensing element is a Buna N diaphragm. The flange is also zinc-plated steel, with a stainless steel option available upon request. The microswitch has a very tight dead band, with current ratings of 10A/250VAC or 0.4A/125VDC for switch 16, and 0.1A/24VDC for switch 16D, which is suitable for "IS" or PLC uses.

Technical Data
Accuracy is less than 10% in constant cycle and temperature. The process connection is ½" BSPM, with other options available on request. Electrical connections are made on the switch, with different outputs for IP20 and IP55 versions. The ambient temperature range is -10 to 60°C, process temperature range is -40 to 120°C, and storage temperature range is -20 to 70°C. The device must be mounted vertically with a horizontal diaphragm.

The ATEX version is certified for intrinsic safety with marking Ex ia IIC T6 (-40°C

Pressure Ranges
For relative pressure, the range is -1.5 to 1 mbar with a maximum pressure of 300 mbar and a fixed dead band of ≤ 0.1 mbar. For differential pressure, the range is 0 to 2.5 mbar with the same maximum pressure and a fixed dead band of ≤ 0.2 mbar.

Applications
The pressure switch is used in ventilations, air or gas filter fouling, and unit heater flow.

Settings Procedure
1. Unscrew the freight locking screw from the process connection and let the switch rest for 24 hours in a vertical position with a horizontal diaphragm.
2. Open the cover using the upper knob.
3. Partially unscrew the locking kit to access the setting screw.
4. Mount the pressure switch on a suitable bench.
5. Perform three slow cycles of pressure increase to the approximate set point.
6. Apply the desired set point pressure and adjust the screw to operate the switch.
7. Repeat step 6 to verify the setting and adjust if necessary.
8. Tighten the locking plate and replace the cover.

Drawings and Electrical Connection
In case of factory presetting, electrical connections are made on terminal blocks, and steps 1 and 6 should be checked.
