Overview
The RMX Rack Milling Machine is designed for precision rack production, leveraging decades of expertise in special purpose milling machines. It features advanced Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl control and Siemens servo drive units, supporting production up to module 30 with high precision. The machine is customizable with extensive optional features to meet diverse customer requirements.

Milling Process
The RMX machine utilizes zero backlash drive units with ball-bearing spindles and optimized power transmission for smooth operation and high-quality tooth production. It supports milling with or against the feeding direction and can operate with PM or HSS cutting tools.

Milling Head and Control
The F 350 milling head is robust and low-maintenance, featuring a durable transmission for high torque and balanced RPM. The Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl control ensures fully automated operation, network compatibility, and safety integration. Additional automation and equipment can be easily incorporated.

B-axis / C-axis
The swivel table (B-axis) allows for helical tooth profile adjustments of +/- 25°, available in manual and CNC-controlled versions. The controlled C-axis enables tooth profile production on arc segments up to 50°.

Clamping Systems
The machine offers a hydraulic workpiece clamping system or an alternative magnetic clamping plate. Special workpieces can be clamped using oblique or prismatic jaws.
