Overview
The RG 2400 rack grinding machine by Kesel is designed for precision and efficiency in rack grinding, utilizing advanced technology and control systems. It is particularly suited for bandsaw blade production, steering rack production, and gear machining.

Technological Features
The machine incorporates the Siemens 840D sl control system and Dr. Kaiser's dressing spindle technology, ensuring high precision and stability. The FEM-analyzed design provides excellent damping, stiffness, and thermal stability.

Grinding Capabilities
The RG 2400 features a CNC diamond dressing wheel for precise profiling and specialized cleaning nozzles for optimal cooling. It supports grinding wheels up to 127 mm wide and 500 mm in diameter, enhancing productivity and reducing cycle times.

B-Axis Functionality
The adjustable B-axis, with a range of +/- 25°, allows for grinding a full range of helical racks. It can be manually or CNC controlled.

Coolant Management
The machine includes an intelligent, fully automated coolant management system that adjusts flow and pressure based on process requirements, ensuring optimal cooling.

Grinding Head
The S500 grinding head features a water-cooled spindle drive for temperature stability and precision. It includes an integrated CNC dressing wheel with an automatic balancing system for superior surface finishing.
