Product Overview

The Insure Flow system by General Air Products is the first alarmed backflow system designed for residential fire protection. It ensures that closed backflow valves do not hinder the operation of fire sprinkler systems, thereby enhancing safety and reducing installation costs.

Functionality

The system alerts homeowners if the control valve is inadvertently closed, rendering the sprinkler system inoperable. A strobe light flashes if the Insure Flow door is left open, followed by a horn alert after approximately 30 minutes. The alarm and strobe can be silenced once the issue is addressed.

Additional Features

The system includes a UL Listed flow switch pre-wired to an alarm bell, which activates during water flow to warn of potential fire. It also features a UL Listed / FM Approved test & drain, spare head storage slots, and extra contacts for additional alarms if needed.
