Open the catalog to page 3d) Sealing with 24° ring 1.4 THREAD There are four main thread families : - BSP, GAS - JIC, SAE (UN, UNF) - NPT - METRIC (ISO) 1.5 SIZE The size may be indicated in inches or in millimetre depending on the thread. For further information, refer to the technical pages giving details on standards. However, it is advisable to pay attention to the fitting designation so as to avoid mistakes. Example: S MJIC 3/4 x MBSPBS 3/4 The 3/4" notion on BSP and JIC does not mean that the threads have the same dimensions on both sides of the fitting.

TECHNICAL DEFINITIONS 2.1 WORKING PRESSURES(PN) The indicated values correspond to maximum working pressures in bar (10 bar = 1 MPa) for a temperature ranging between -40° C and 100° C and for steel parts used with an oil-based hydraulic fluid. In a normative way, the maximum working pressure corresponds to the bursting pressure divided by a safety factor of 4. Unless otherwise specified in our catalogue, the maximum working pressure of an adapter corresponds to the lowest working pressure on either side in the considered operating conditions or in the most conservative case.
