The POLYTECH CP® hose is designed for transferring Group II A bipolar solvents and is suitable for use in various ATEX zones externally. The POLYTECH CC® hose is intended for transferring all chemicals, including aggressive ones, in explosion risk zones, ensuring electrostatic dissipation both on the surface and through the hose wall.
The CP tube is made of inert, ultra-smooth, non-adherent PFA fluoropolymer. The CC tube is made of antistatic PFA fluoropolymer with similar properties. Both hoses feature textile reinforcement and galvanized steel embedded in the wall, with an antistatic EPDM external covering, marbled green/black for CP and blue/black for CC.
Both CP and CC comply with FDA 21CFR 177 1550, USP Class VI, Regulation (EU) 10/2011, and Regulation (EC) 2023/2006, and are phthalate-free. The CP hose has ATEX validation INERIS no.1795-2X/09, while the CC hose complies with NF EN 12115 2011 and has ATEX validation INERIS no.208820 - 2754361 - v1.0 for all zones.
The hoses are available in various sizes with a standard manufacturing length of 20 meters. They can withstand temperatures from -30°C to +130°C and can be sterilized at 135°C for up to 30 minutes. The working pressure is 10 bar (145 PSI) with a bursting pressure of 30 bar (435 PSI). The bend radius and weight vary by size.
